Inaugural Post

I want to be a writer.

I know that I write fairly well. The problem is however, that I should be writing every chance I get in an effort to hone my craft but I feel as if I have this major writer's block. (I'm currently imagining it as a giant block of cheese that is blocking my path in a maze...perhaps the maze of life? -Note: This image popped into my head for two reasons, 1) I just finished reading a book called Where's My Cheese? and 2) I'm hungry!) But I digress...

It seems to me though that the only cure for my writer's block is to write about writer's block. Irony perhaps?

So what does a wannabe writer do about it? I guess it is time to force myself to write, even if I do ramble on. (Like now...)
